Blessed Holidays - 2013

February 2014

Dear family and friends,

We reflect on the many and varied experiences of the year 2013 with grateful hearts. Through clouds and sunshine, His service has been our joy! Adjusting to family life and ministry as a family of 5 has been no small or easy task. Thankfully, our Fisher children’s active involvement in our lives, even from far away Africa, has brought comfort and joy and smoothed the sometimes bumpy road we’ve traveled on.

Family ministry commitments opened the way for exploring new continents as we testified of the beauty of God’s ways in Bolivia in Feb/Mar. In August we were blessed once again to fellowship with old friends and minister to families in Germany. Then our joy was full as we made our way to yet another new continent, to join Luke and Chantée during the first 5 weeks of their ministry to the precious people in DRC, as they have joined the devoted missionaries of Congo Frontline Missions.

We traveled back home in late Sept. in time for Dad to channel his energies to the ministry of AMEN and our 3 young people to enter their busiest ministry season of the year with GYC. Their increasing dedication to the work of calling youth to radical commitment to Christ claims more and more of their travel time and labors, both at home and abroad. God has made grace abound to meet our needs as the call to deeper sacrifice became clear. Our youngest now devotes the greater portion of her daily energies in prayer and service in the leadership of GYC.

As we pause to consider some of the greatest blessings of 2013, the love of family, friends and their sweet fellowship rank highest. The Edwin Dysinger family has held a special place in our year, as together we have enjoyed deepening our longstanding friendship, which has born fruit in the courtship of our children, Paul and Natasha. :)

Our hearts rejoice exceedingly- together with our Fisher family- as we anticipate the birth of our first grandchild in May, and the new privilege of ...

“....showing to the generations to come the praises of the Lord, and His strength and His wonderful works that He hath done. For He established a testimony... and a law... which He commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children: That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and make them known to their children: That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments...” Ps. 78: 4-7

As we journey through 2014 may we not weary of proclaiming the goodness of God, and the life changing power of our living Savior who is soon to return for His own.

With much love and prayers,

The Nebblett family
